how to submit

Thank you for your interest in contributing your work to Ad Hominem. At this time, we only accept electronic submissions of poetry, short fiction, and essays. If you're interested in sharing your visual art, we're interested in that, as well. Submission guidelines are as follows:

1. Finish your work. Really. Make sure it is whole and well-formed.
2. Send it as an e-mail attachment to [email protected] (we accept .doc, .docx, .rtf, and .pdf formats for literature and .jpg or .png for artwork)
   
3. In the subject of the e-mail, write Poetry Submission, Fiction Submission, Essay Submission, Photograph Submission, etc.
   
4. In the body of the e-mail, include a quick note about yourself, publishing history, etc.

Ad Hominem does not currently pay anything other than a slight publicity boost and the satisfaction of knowing that we liked your work as much as you do; however, we'd like to compile a print version of our favorites down the line. Keep checking back for updates on this endeavor!
