Larissa McGinnity lives in central Michigan with her husband and two sons, Lysander and Leif, and is a 2008 graduate of Hollins University. Her works has appeared in Photographer’s Forum Best of Photography in 2003, as well as 2009.
Larissa sells her photographs along with her pottery at the Livingstone Studio on beautiful Beaver Island, Michigan. Much of her work involves nature--as inspiration, subject, or decoration. Larissa has an abiding interest in macro-photography, sometimes shooting at such close range that the totality of the form dissolves and only the finest details remain.
