I have been writing poetry since the eighth grade, when I was published in a Creative Communications Young Poet's Anthology and was also awarded a "Top Ten" prize. Ever since, I've had an insatiable need to document my life in writing. A great deal of my work is inspired by the people with which I interact, whether they be close friends, family, or merely people I pass walking on the street. I'm fascinated by the human psyche and the ways we treat one another. Thus, interpersonal relationships and flashbulb memories are my favorite subjects to analyze and interpret. (And, therefore, the explanation of my insane choice of a Pre-Medical Psychology major.)
